The Program of Korean Studies of the Asia Pacific Center, Institute of International Studies of the University of Chile organizes in Santiago on October 26th and 27th 2009, the IV Meeting of Korean Studies in Latin America.
The event counts with the support of the Korea Foundation and represents a continuity regarding the prior efforts developed by the Brazilian, Mexican and Argentine scholars, that have successfully organized the previous meetings.
The Program of Korean Studies of the University of Chile has determined to be compromised firmly in developing a multidisciplinary and extensive meeting, to continue fortifying the Latin-American academic debate regarding the Korean studies. Another goal is diffuse among the students the importance of these themes and stimulate their participation.
